'exhaling' is my first full-length, fully-realized release featuring nine self-recorded songs mastered by Noah Waldron (Capsicum Productions, Jackson, WY). I played almost all the instruments heard on 'exhaling' with Jackson musicians Brian Granse and Clint Troxel filling in (respectively) on lead guitar and mandolin. The cover photo is used with permission by Michael Sherwin 2004. Layout and design was done by Crystal Joliff.
Cost is $6.00, which includes shipping to wherever you are.
Again, thanks to Alex for his persistence in getting me on the air. Also cheers to Bob Butts, who runs the Zappa Hour out there and to John Rios, for running the sound.
This is the uncut version (41MB); I hope to have edited/smaller versions up soon!
Based on a true story of a little girl who finds a little bird
This song was written for a songwriting contest. The theme was the wall being built between the US & Mexico, but I couldn't get inspired to write about a wall. The story is loosely based upon La travesa de Enrique (Enriques Journey) on el tren de la muerte (the train of death).
Written from some first impressions of the Colorado/Utah desert & 'Cold Rain & Snow' (traditional). Featuring Brian Granse on lead guitar.
The coffee; the rain; the song.
Looking for some answers, to the questions that haunt us the most. Featuring Clint Troxel on mandolin.
